These terms govern your use of Focus Matrix — a browser extension that turns your new tab into an Eisenhower Matrix with a built-in Pomodoro timer — and the website focusmx.app (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Your tasks and settings belong to you. How data is stored and protected is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You can export your data, delete your cloud data and account, or uninstall the extension at any time.
You agree not to:
The Focus Matrix name, logo, design, and code are the property of the developer. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension. You may not resell or redistribute the Service as your own.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will never occur — please use the built-in export feature for backups of important data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or productivity, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. The Service is free of charge; to the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend or terminate access (for example, to accounts abusing the sync infrastructure) and may discontinue the Service; where reasonably possible, we will provide notice so you can export your data.
If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
